For the second straight year, Mariana Rong claimed the St. Mary's Athletics Female Student-Athlete of the Year at the 2015 Athletics Banquet. Rong earned the honor by maintaining a 3.94 grade-point average in biology and chemistry while her senior season continued to mark her as the program's most decorated player. This season, Rong was named an All-American in doubles and was an Academic All-American, becoming the only player in school history to be named a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American and a two-time All-American.
