Mariana Rong (Sr., Jinan, China) picked up her second straight Heartland Conference Player of the Week award after picking up two big wins last week. The award marks the 13th on her career. Rong was unbeaten for the week, winning her singles and doubles matches to help take down regional rival at #17-ranked Midwestern State, 5-4, and then helped sweep conference contender UTPB, 9-0.
