Ross Dausin joined the St. Mary's coaching staff in the spring of 2015 as an assistant for the men's and women's tennis programs. Dausin, the son of award-winning head coach Lisa Dausin, graduated in 2013 from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a BSBA Management degree.Â
"I'm excited for the opportunity to be able to work with tennis again and to contribute to the recent successes of the program," he said.
Dausin was an all-district tennis player and a regional qualifier at Warren High School in San Antonio, where he also starred on the gridiron under father Bryan Dausin.
It was the football field where Dausin made his name in college, earning a mini-camp tryout with the Tennessee Titans following a decorated career at Colorado State-Pueblo that saw him earn All-American status in 2012. He was also named the RMAC Player of the Year and the Colorado College Male Athlete of the Year that season.Â
