Coaching and mentoring have always been passions of Mackenzie "Mack" Moncada, who is entering his second season as the Assistant Esports Coach at St. Mary's University. Prior to joining the staff, Moncada worked with youth programs for wrestling, golf, coding and even swimming for kids with disabilities through Kinetic Kids. 

An Exercise and Sports Science major, Moncada graduated from St. Mary's with a Bachelor of Arts in 2020. He is now a graduate student of University, working toward a Master of Business Administration. 

As someone who was introduced to video games at a young age, Moncada's gaming background is very diverse. When he finds a little free time outside of school and work, Moncada works on developing his "Apex Legends" aim and movement skills, exploring the world and story of "Genshin Impact," or is playing "Pokemon GO" around campus.

Outside of gaming, Moncada spends his free time working on or admiring cars old and new.
