Tyler Migl played his four-year college baseball career as a Rattler, tying up his career in the 2012 season. Migl won three Heartland Conference championships with the Rattlers during his play as first baseman, and earned the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championship and advanced to the College World Series in his final season. He was honored as the Heartland Conference Player of the Year his junior season and won the Rawlings National Gold Glove award after committing just a single error in his senior year. Migl can found at the top of several cateorgies in the St. Mary's Record Books including his No. 3 rank for the most career doubles at 56 and his No. 2 rank for most career putouts at 1,353.
