St. Mary's ace Emily Brittain picked up her 14th career Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week award this week after pitching a complete-game shutout in a victory over Rogers State. Brittain, a senior from Corpus Christi, Texas, struck out five in the win. Her Rattlers are ranked No. 7 in the nation and have won 27 of their last 28 games, including 13 straight.
