Emily Brittain was tremendous in the circle for the 14th-ranked Rattlers, going 4-0 with a save and a 0.72 ERA to lead the Rattlers to an 8-0 week that included her being named the Co-Most Valuable Player of the St. Mary's Rattler Invitational. Brittain pitched three shutouts on the week, including a two-hit shutout of Tarleton State. Over 29.0 innings, she pitched four complete games, walked just two batters, struck out nine and held batters to a .182 batting average.
