Marvin Whitt nailed the game-winning shot against Emporia State with .3 seconds remaining, helping the Rattlers go 2-0 in the Thanksgiving Classic this week. Whitt was also key in the Rattlers' win over Central Missouri as he went 8-8 at the foul stripe in overtime to seal the victory. As the shortest man on the roster, Whitt led in rebounding against Central Missouri, as well as in steals, assists and point and tied the team-high in rebounds against Emporia. He averaged 23.5 points and seven reboundsf for the week while making just one turnover in 74 minutes of play and going perfect at the line, 20-20. Whitt also added six steals and five assists on the week in his first two starts as a Rattler.
