Nicole Sardelich was named the Heartland Conference Player of the Year after a sensational season in which she is batting .454 with a school-record 25 doubles. She is second in the nation in doubles. Sardelich helped lead the Rattlers to the Heartland Conference regular-season and postseason championships, earning a berth in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional. She also made the Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team at third base.
