This week, Emily Brittain brought in her ninth career Heartland Conference Pitcher of Week award after tossing 16 innings over four appearances. Fanning eight last week, Brittain brought her strikeout count to 40 on the season in 65 1/3 innings pitched. The Rattlers’ No. 1 is currently at a 3.32 ERA this season.
