St. Mary's Vianna Gutierrez threw her first career no-hitter, and she did it in a 14-0 victory over No. 4 Angelo State. She also pitched one inning in relief in the Rattlers' other victory over No. 4 Angelo State, earning Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors. In her other game, she fanned 10 in a victory over Colorado State-Pueblo. For the week, she went 2-0 with 14 strikeouts and a 2.15 ERA.
