In her first NCAA DII South Central Regional, Russell pitched in every game, going 4-1 as she allowed only five earned runs for the entire tournament, improving her overall record to 22-5, helping the Rattlers advance to their third straight NCAA Super Regional. Her four victories all were with the Rattlers season on the line, with three of the victories off of complete game efforts.
