Russell went 2-0 last week with a 1.40 ERA  in 20 innings as she led the Rattlers to victory over Angelo State and Lubbock Christian, earning herself Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors. Against LCU, Russell went the distance in a 13-inning marathon as she retired 39 of the 52 batters she faced as the Rattlers were able to end the Chaps' 17-game winning-streak.
