Men's Basketball's Marvin Binney was named the St. Mary's Athletics Male Athlete of the Year at the 2015 annual Athletics Banquet. Binney enjoyed a banner senior season with the Rattlers, leading his team to the regular-season and postseason Heartland Conference titles. Binney was named the Heartland Conference MVP of the postseason tournament, was selected All-Conference First Team as well as NABC All-Region Second Team. In his final year, Binney led the Rattlers in scoring with 13 points per game and led the Snakes in assists (82) and steals (49).
