Vianna Gutierrez Touchtone was lights out on the week, picking up three wins with two complete-game shutouts and a third game which she combined with Veronica Garcia to no-hit Newman, tossing five innings. The senior totaled 21 strikeouts in 17 innings, going on to win the Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week and the NFCA Division II National Pitcher of the Week.
