SAN ANTONIO —The success of the men's and women's tennis programs continues to flare as both moved up in the ITA national rankings, released today.
The women's team bumped up an impressive 20 spots from its last ranking and are now the No. 28th team in the country. Headlining the women's rankings is Armstrong Atlantic followed by Barry.
The Lady Rattlers are sitting with a 12-4 overall record and a 3-0 record against Heartland Conference teams, and recently took three points off the No. 5 team in nation, Abilene Christian, falling 6-3.

Mariana Rong (So., Jinan, China) is still in the national pool. However, despite boasting an undefeated 14-0 record, she actually dropped one spot to No. 29 in the latest poll.
The men's tennis team is exuding the same national prestige, moving up four spots in the national ranks to No. 44. Armstrong Atlantic and Barry are also headlining the men's rankings, holding the No. 1 and No. 2 rank, respectively. The Rattlers are also striding through the conference as impressively as the women, holding an undefeated 4-0 record against league teams to go along with a 9-6 overall record.
