StM[UBER]: Come along for the ride

Golf-cart rideshare to debut Sept. 6

By St. Mary's Athletics Communications

SAN ANTONIO — Start riding with StM[UBER].

On Thursday, Sept. 6, StMU students can kick off their night right by booking a lift in a golf cart to the @stmumsoccer home opener from multiple pickup spots across campus.

Don't worry about those #awk moments when no one wants to pay for the ride because you can ride around for free #nomooching.

Your #StMUBER driver will take you straight to Sigma Beta Chi Field on tricked-out rides that are #extra with charging stations, the ability to sync your tunes #handmetheaux and spray misters to beat the heat.

Best of all? It doesn't stop there. Future StM[UBER] rides will be available as redeemable prizes in the FANGcentives store. Want us to take you to class, your residence hall or to the café? We'll be there.

So how do you book your ride? It couldn't get any easier. Just check-in on the FANGcentives app at one of the three pickup spots: Subway, Founders Hall and the Café (located in the "Events" area of the app). Pickup times will begin at 7 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. 5154

Haven't downloaded the FANGcentives app yet? No sweat. Download it today on the App Store or Google Play.

You can also share your experience afterward by rating your driver on the @StMarysRattlers Instagram story. Make sure to book the right ride or you might be in for a life story. If you're lucky, you could catch the party ride fully stocked with strobe lights and Bluetooth speakers. Try to swerve the worst ride of all, strapped with laminated rules on the back seats and absolute silence the whole time.

Rattler Man will also be on the loose! If you manage to get him on your ride and snap it on the FANCAM part of the FANGcentives app, you will be in the running to win UberEats gift cards.

All riders who submit a rating will be entered into one of many contests to win some sweet swag.

We wouldn't want you to miss out on the epic launch of our StM[UBER] startup! #forwardthinking
