@StMUmbb hold off Javelinas in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE, Texas — Behind a game-high 18 points from Skyler Brooks, the St. Mary's Rattlers defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville 61-57 on Tuesday night.
 
Leading by as many as 16, the Rattlers survived a late rally by the Javelinas, scoring the final five points of the game in the final minute.
 
Brooks added six rebounds and two assists to his stat line as Petar Radojicic recorded 16 points and four rebounds.
 
Well rounded games from Will Ferguson, who posted seven points, three rebounds and four assists, and Dimitri Peterson, who added six points and five rebounds, helped propel the Rattlers to their fifth victory of the season.
 
Next for the Snakes will be a conference meeting against Lubbock Christian on Jan. 6 at 3 p.m.
